Balancing Life and Work

Family Services
Through Family Services, Inc., Woodmen of the World provides all associates help with personal issues, assistance with childcare providers, answers to legal questions, advice about money, services for an older relative, and guidance with career.

Family Services also provides short term counseling, crisis intervention and referrals for help with marital and family problems, emotional distress job stress, alcohol or drug problems, loss and death. Referrals to infant centers, preschools, adoption assistance, care for sick children, emergency/drop-in care. Legal counseling on IRS Matters, personal and family services and business legal services. Financial Counseling. Older Adult Service if you're caring for an elderly relative and Career Management. Counselors help assess on-the-job career development issues, clarify skills, interests, values and work styles.

Fitness Facility
Woodmen of the World associates enjoy an in-house Fitness Facility. The facility offers a variety of fitness classes and cardio machines including treadmills and elliptical cross-trainers.

Maternity Leave
Having a baby? In addition to providing fully funded maternity leave, Woodmen of the World also presents embroidered baby blankets commemorating the birth of associates children.

Adoption Policy
Woodmen of the World recognizes that the adoption of a child is an important family event. Through an Adoption Assistance Program, eligible associates are offered financial reimbursement of certain expenses incurred in the legal adoption of a child. Eligible expenses that are reasonable and necessary for the legal adoption of a child may be reimbursed up to $1,500 per adoption with an annual maximum benefit of $1,500.
