Woodmen is committed to building stronger communities. Our dedication to helping others – one of the principles upon which we were founded more than a century ago – impacts communities throughout the nation each year.

Each year, thousands of individuals and organizations throughout the nation receive assistance through matching-fund projects conducted by local Woodmen lodges. These projects included donating equipment to police and fire departments, assisting senior citizens and volunteering for civic projects.

At our organization headquarters in Omaha, Neb., Woodmen's Corporate Contribution Committee has developed a strong program of charitable giving throughout Omaha and surrounding communities in Nebraska and Iowa, through donations to organizations and activities that enrich the lives of families and strengthen the communities in which they live.

Woodmen focuses its philanthropic activity in six areas:

In addition, headquarters associates are encouraged to submit matching gift requests for donations to organizations that focus on programs and activities that benefit young people, enhance family life and improve the well being of our associates.
